Travel Alert Lifted in Beijing
In a move by the World Health Organization (WHO) yesterday, Beijing was removed from the list of SARS-related travel advisories, leaving no travel advisories in place across the world.

According to CNN.com, the U.N. also helped the struggling Chinese capital of Beijing by taking it off the list of areas where SARS could possibly still be spreading. More than 20 days have passed since Beijing’s last case of SARS.

The only cities still listed as places where the WHO fears local SARS transmission are Taiwan and Toronto in Canada. However, neither of these areas has travel advisories listed against them.
