Toronto and Ontario Extending Warm Welcome to NTA Board of Directors
Despite enormous difficulties it has experienced this year, the Toronto and Ontario, Canada travel and tourism industry has responded overwhelmingly to welcome the National Tour Association Board of Directors, scheduled to meet Sept. 11-14, 2003 in Toronto.
In May, the NTA board voted to hold its September meeting in Toronto to show its support of the city’s and Ontario’s efforts to re-emerge from tourism struggles stemming from the outbreak of SARS. The NTA board worked in tandem with Tourism Toronto to put together a plan that included meeting facilities, hotel sites and transportation options for the meeting.
"Toronto and Ontario tourism officials have generously met our needs, and we are thrilled to support them in their recovery efforts," said NTA President Hank Phillips, CTP. "Judging from this impressive response, NTA members have a great deal to look forward to when Toronto serves as the host city of our 2004 Annual Convention."
NTA is grateful for the support of the following sponsors of the September board meeting:

Fairmont Royal York
Canadian Tourism Commission
