Thailand Tourist Areas Under Terror Alert
Thailand is increasing its security efforts this week as the area comes under terror alert due to intelligence reports warning of possible suicide bombings.

According to CNN.com, tourist areas and beach resorts including Pattaya, Phuket and Koh Samui are witnessing tightened security measures and police presence. Additionally, police are on heightened alert at the U.S., British and Australian embassies in the capitol of Bangkok. Australia is recommending the use of extreme caution in Thailand.
