Slate for 2027 NTA Board of Directors Announced

The NTA Nominating Committee would like to announce the 2027 slate of candidates for the NTA Board of Directors. After vetting the applications, conducting interviews with each applicant and considering the applicants’ qualifications, the committee composed the following slate:
- Vice Chair – Theresa Nemetz, Travel Deliciously
- Secretary – Richard Arnold, Atlantic Tours
- DMO director (three-year term) – Todd Read, SoIN Tourism
- Tour Supplier director (three-year term) – Jered Fournier, Broadway Inbound
- Tour Operator director (three-year term) – Brittany Dykla, Brilliant Edventures
- Tour Operator director (three-year term) – Kerrie Niemeier, Wells Gray Tours
- Tour Operator director (three-year term) – Chris Pourgourides, Abbey-The Destination Experts
- Tour Operator director (one-year term) – Jose Pedro Goncalves, Viagens Abreu SA
The committee will accept additional nominations from the membership through Sept.22 to run from the floor. If you’re interested in running from the floor, please contact Jennifer Royse.
Ballots will be distributed by e-mail to members’ primary contact on Wednesday, Sept. 23. Tour operators will vote for operator candidates and officers, tour suppliers for supplier candidates, and DMOs for DMO candidates. To learn more about the candidates, view their profiles on NTAonline.com.
NTA will host an online Annual Business Meeting on Nov. 10 when members can hear from the nominees and have an opportunity to ask questions. The 2027 NTA Board officially will be announced during Travel Exchange ‘26.
