Icebreaker Event Tonight at Union Station
Nov. 3, 2007 – Saturday night delegates of the NTA Annual Convention will enjoy an Icebreaker event at the nation’s third-largest passenger station, Kansas City’s Union Station. Opened in 1914, the station is now home to a science museum, planetarium, the KC Rail Experience, restaurants, shops, movies and performance theatres, and traveling exhibits.
Delegates will experience an evening of fun and networking with big-music at the USO Club, jazz from the 1920s and ‘40s, regional cuisine and photograph opportunities with locals such as President Harry Truman and Pony Express riders.
The Icebreaker is sponsored by the Kansas City CVA, the Missouri Division of Tourism and Union Station.
