Bridge Construction Closes Roadway in Washington, D.C. Tomorrow
Construction work on the Jefferson Drive bridge this week on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. will close the road between 14th and 7th Streets, SW from 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20.

According to the Smithsonian Institution, an NTA member, buildings affected by the construction include:

  • Arthur M. Sackler Gallery
  • Arts & Industries Building
  • Freer Gallery of Art
  • Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden
  • National Museum of African Art
  • S. Dillon Ripley Center
  • Smithsonian Institution Building
