U.S. State Department Warns Americans About Travel to Uzbekistan
The U.S. State Department issued an alert over the weekend warning citizens of travel to Uzbekistan after receiving information regarding potential terrorist attacks.

According to the State Department, U.S. citizens should "evaluate carefully the implications for their security and safety before deciding to travel to Uzbekistan." Increased security precautions at official U.S. facilities in Uzbekistan may lead potential terrorist groups to seek targets such as restaurants, clubs, hotels, resorts and schools.
