U.S. State Department Issues Travel Warning for Yemen
A new travel warning was issued Wednesday for Yemen, as the U.S. State Department cited "continuing efforts by Al-Qa’ida to reconstitute an effective operating base."

According to the State Department, U.S. citizens are warned to defer all non-essential travel to Yemen, as the threat to Americans remains high. Citizens traveling in Yemen now are advised to "exercise particular caution at locations frequented by foreigners, such as the Sanaa Trade Center, American-affiliated franchises, restaurants and shops in the Haddah area in Sanaa and in Aden and elsewhere, at restaurants and hotels frequented by expatriates."
