Strike Ends at Paris’ Orly Airport
February 19, 2004 – Air traffic controllers at Paris’ Orly airport voted today to end a strike that disrupted 60 percent of its flights since Monday.

According to USAToday.com, the strike, which affected mainly domestic flights, ended after the air traffic controllers’ union forced the civil aviation authority to back away from a contested plan to change their duties.

Traffic at Paris’ largest and main international airport, Roissy-Charles de Gaulle, was operating as usual today after two days of minor disruptions related to the Orly stoppage.
