NTA has learned that if tour operators have arranged for group meals or IMAX theater bookings at either American History or Natural History, they should contact Smithsonian Business Ventures’ Group Sales office to discuss alternatives. If you have other questions, please telephone Smithsonian Information at 202.633.1000 or call Katherine Neill Ridgley, Director of Visitor Information and NTA rep. for the Smithsonian, at 202.633.5262.
The National Archives, the downtown headquarters of the Justice Department and the Internal Revenue Service are closed for the rest of the week.
Please continue to pass along news of road and weather conditions, possible travel delays, damage reports and any information regarding closures of travel-related offices, attractions, destinations or roadways.
