Scattered Rain Brings Sunshine in San Diego
October 31, 2003 – The following is a message from the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau:

"Your friends in San Diego want to keep you updated on our current conditions related to the wildfires and we want to thank you for the overwhelming concern and positive support we have received from all of you. We are delighted to report that pockets of blue skies greeted many communities within the City of San Diego Thursday morning, but it was the scattered rains that brought true sunshine to many faces within our community.

The cleansing has begun with the San Diego visitor and meeting and convention industries back to near normal. It was reported that air quality for the day was also back to normal, except for those areas in the immediate vicinity where wildfires continue in the rural areas of the East County. The majority of San Diego’s popular attractions and activities, including our major attractions, San Diego Zoo and its Wild Animal Park, SeaWorld San Diego and LEGOLAND California are all open for business.

As always, we at the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau are ready to help make your meeting a success, so help us help you by calling upon your national sales manager or visit us at http://%20www.sandiego.org/.
