Open my world: Who’s who at NTA

This week in our “Open my world” segment, we take a trip to Louisiana’s Cajun Country and introduce two attractions on opposite sides of the United States that offer truly unique experiences. These partners—and so many more—will be in Milwaukee this November to promote their diverse product options at Travel Exchange ’18.

The Corning Museum of Glass is located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Wine Country of New York and is home to the world’s premier collection of art, historical and scientific glass. Visits may include hands-on glassmaking activities, dining in our expanded café, watching a live Hot Glass Show and shopping in our GlassMarket shops. Hub-and-spoke tours could include any of the area wineries amidst scenic countryside including Binghamton, Cooperstown, Rochester or Buffalo, New York.

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

The world’s largest rotating aerial tramway rises over 2.5 miles to a scenic wonderland. The tram’s two 80-passenger cars revolve slowly from within, providing a spectacular 360-degree view of the desert. Once guests reach the end of their journey at an elevation of 8,516, they enter a Mountain Station that features viewpoints, two restaurants, gift shop, natural history museum and a theater. Special lunch and dinner packages with advance reservations are offered as well as NTA member rates.
