NTA Staff Receives Visitable Advocate Certification
August 25, 2026
For the past two years NTA has partnered with VisitAble to help members better serve travelers with disabilities through webinars, training, and tailored certifications.
The NTA staff immediately led by example. Within two months of the launch, the headquarters team completed VisitAble Advocate Certification program—and they have now successfully renewed this certification for the second consecutive year.
“I am incredibly proud that 100% of the NTA staff participated in VisitAble’s training course for the second consecutive year,” said Executive Vice President Dawn Pettus.
“The program’s personal accounts from individuals with disabilities challenges all of us to re-think what we know about accessibility. From events to our everyday interactions, the NTA team is committed to making our association a welcoming place for all,” she added.
The program teaches modern terminology, best practices, and dispels common misconceptions about accessibility. For more information, visit VisitAble.
