NTA Members Take TIAC Awards
November 10, 2003 – Several NTA members were honored recently as the best that Canada’s tourism industry has to offer during the inaugural National Awards for Tourism Excellence awards ceremony sponsored by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada.

NTA members or those affiliated with the association who took honors were:

Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park (North Vancouver, British Columbia) – Dodd Media Sales Business of the Year Award
The Charlottetown Festival, Confederation Centre of the Arts (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island) – Hertz Car Rental Event of the Year Award
Nova Scotia Department of Tourism and Culture (Halifax, Nova Scotia) – WHERE Magazine Marketing Campaign of the Year Award
Mirvish Productions (Toronto, Ontario) – PW Group Corporate Partner of the Year Award
Judy Waytiuk, travel writer – a freelance writer for NTA’s Courier magazine (Winnipeg, Manitoba) – The Globe and Mail Travel Media Award
