NTA Members Among 2004 TIA Odyssey Award Winners
August 23, 2004 – The Travel Industry Association has selected eleven organizations to receive the 2004 Odyssey Award, a program that recognizes the outstanding achievement of TIA member organizations that have achieved a higher level of excellence and accomplishment. This year, eight of the eleven companies selected are NTA members.

Congratulations go to these NTA members: Missouri Division of Tourism, ARAMARK, Tauck World Discovery, Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau, Arizona Office of Tourism, Greater Cleveland Convention & Visitors Bureau, Holiday Inn (Intercontinental Hotel Group), and Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

The Odyssey Award is given annually to those that have demonstrated originality, creativity and effectiveness in categories such as Cultural Heritage, the Environment, Public & Community Service, and Education, Training and Employment. They will be honored at TIA’s Annual Awards Banquet, which takes place Thursday, Oct. 28, during the TIA Marketing Outlook Forum in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Ariz.
