New YPBR Survey Finds 84 Percent Plan to Travel This Summer
A recent online survey of 1,000 leisure travelers by Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell (YPBR) found that 84 percent plan to take a vacation this summer.
The survey also indicated that 13 percent of those that responded plan to visit a destination outside the United States. Forty-five percent of the leisure travelers surveyed said catching up with friends and relatives was their top vacation activity, and 23 percent said beach and lake vacations. Cruising was a popular choice with five percent of those who were surveyed, and 14 percent hope to visit a theme park this summer.
