For over a century, Central Photo Company has been framing history through panoramic portraits. Hailed as “an American icon” by the Washington Post, we’ve captured thousands on the Capitol steps, from schoolchildren to government officials. Our flagship Capitol panoramic group portraits, taken at the Ulysses S. Grant Memorial, accommodate groups of 20 to hundreds. Using our unique camera, we create our signature “runners” effect, allowing individuals to appear twice in one photograph, a cherished tradition for decades.
