THETRADESHOW Helps Agents, Operators Make Connections

LEXINGTON, Ky.THETRADESHOW brings together travel agents and tour operators and other travel suppliers to help make profitable business connections. NTA continues its support of the event, which will be held this year at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Sept. 13-15.

"The National Tour Association was the first strategic partner to sign on for THETRADESHOW and we’re happy to continue this alliance each year," said NTA President Lisa Simon, CTP. "This show brings tour operators, travel agents, destinations and other travel companies together and it is that spirit of industry-wide collaboration that continues to make NTA proud to be a part of this event."

NTA is encouraging its tour operator members to purchase booth space and, in turn, they will be able to participate in the new supplier seminar series, a special education track that concentrates on the needs of suppliers. In addition to all of the industry connections at the show, tour operators can grow business by marketing to travel agents who sell more than $120 billion in travel each year.

NTA continues to find value in THETRADESHOW because of the unique relationship between travel agents and tour operators. Tour operators are looking for new distribution partners and travel agents are looking for higher profits and quality product for their clients. 370 of NTA’s 700 tour operators offer agents commissionable packages. Because so many NTA tour operators now offer customized itineraries, the product available to these agents is extensive and includes unique options. NTA’s attendance and support of this show will help both memberships discover new business opportunities.
