Open my world: Who’s who at TREX18

August 21, 2018

This week in “Open my world,” we visit one of the West’s premier historical museums, are introduced to a charming Delaware River community and check in with one of Portland, Oregon’s most popular annual attractions. These tour supplier and DMO partners—and so many more—will be in Milwaukee to promote their product options at Travel Exchange, Nov. 4–8. The people. The product. The markets. All at Travel Exchange ’18.

Buffalo Bill Center of the West
Cody, Wyoming
Attending TREX18: Debra Elwood, Bruce Sauers
The Buffalo Bill Center of the West is located less than an hour’s drive from the east gate of Yellowstone National Park. The Center is the premier destination for experiencing the authentic story of the American West, as its five world-class museums together move visitors to explore and develop their own personal connections to that story. The Center also offers the Dan Miller’s Cowboy Music Revue and Dinner, as well as an eatery and coffee bar that can accommodate prescheduled and to-go lunches. Debra and Bruce will both be in Milwaukee, so find them and get your visit planned!

Greater Wilmington CVB
Wilmington, Delaware
Attending TREX18: Jennifer Arrigo
On a visit to Wilmington and Delaware’s beautiful Brandywine Valley, guests can stay in group friendly hotels, enjoy fabulous entertainment venues and take advantage of tax-free shopping and delicious dining options. They’ll revel in the beauty of each season visiting spectacular museums, gardens, mansions, festivals and revitalized riverfront. Catch up with Jennifer at Travel Exchange ’18 to help you plan the perfect group tour trip; she has sample itineraries, trip planning assistance, brochures, area maps, videos and more.

Portland Rose Festival
Portland, Oregon
Attending TREX18: Carol Ross
Celebrate the City of Roses every June with events and activities for all ages. A tour package wouldn’t be complete without tickets to the Spirit Mountain Casino Grand Floral Parade, and you can reserve comfortable, climate-controlled seats inside the Memorial Coliseum for ideal parade viewing. This signature all-floral parade happens the second Saturday after Memorial Day; upcoming dates are June 8, 2019, and June 6, 2020. You’ll want to visit with Carol about how to best package her attraction on your next Oregon itinerary.
