Effective April 14, 2003, work will begin to restore and stabilize the 12th Street bridge on Jefferson Drive on the National Mall, which passes over the 12th Street tunnel under the Mall. A temporary bridge is in place that permits daytime use of Jefferson Drive.
Periodically, Jefferson Drive itself will close on Friday nights from 7PM to 7AM Saturday; when this happens there will be a 14-day notice.
