Royal Caribbean Passengers Stricken With Virus Symptoms
Nearly 72 travelers aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise through the western Caribbean last week came down with virus symptoms and were quarantined.
According to a report in today’s Travel Management Daily, the cruise was traveling from Galveston, Texas through the western Caribbean July 20 to 27. Passengers who were clearly ill were asked to stay quarantined in their cabins for three days.
In a move designed to support the passengers who became sick, Royal Caribbean prorated travelers’ fares for their quarantined time.
