September 1, 2004 – NTA Legislative Counsel Jim Santini and NTA President Hank Phillips will be featured guests this Friday on "15 Minutes with Sandy", a radio segment distributed online to readers of eTurboNews. Jim and Hank will speak with host Sandy Dhuyvetter about the announcement made by Alcatraz last week to eliminate ticket sales to the tour and travel industry. Since learning of this decision, NTA has been in talks with GGNRA. NTA hopes to reestablish access to Alcatraz for tour operators, and to attempt to prevent similar actions in other national parks. Jim and Hank will also address other NTA initiatives, such as the formation of OTIA and the upcoming Annual Convention in Toronto this November.
