NTA Nominating Committee Announces 2008 Nominees
The NTA Nominating Committee has selected the following individuals as nominees for the 2008 officer and board positions.

Chairman and CEO

  • Bob Hoelscher, CTP, CTC, CTIE, MCC – Flemming Tours

    Vice Chairman/Chairman and CEO Elect

  • Michele Michalewicz, CTP – Western Leisure

    Treasurer

  • Catherine Greteman – Star Destinations

    Secretary

  • Marian DiPietro – Tourco

    Three tour operator director seats (two-year terms) will be filled. The candidates are:

  • Luca Arioli – Intertravel
  • Gloria Kenley – The Kenley Konnection
  • Corey Marshall, CTP – Anderson Vacations
  • Mahen Sanghrajka – Big Five Tours and Expeditions

    One DMO director seat (two-year term) will be filled. The candidate is:

  • Ed Hall, CTP – Rochester Visitors Association

    One tour supplier director seat (two-year term) will be filled. The candidates are:

  • Wayne Chandler, CTP – Gaylord Attractions/Grand Ole Opry
  • Carolyn Chrzan – Golden Corral
  • Jim Kisselburg – Wyndham Hotel Group
  • Jill Pongonis – Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation

    Nominations from the floor will be accepted through Aug. 8 at which time NTA will have a full slate of candidates for the election. Announcement of the above candidates and information about nominations from the floor will appear on NTA.travel’s "This Just In" and the Aug. 14 edition of Tuesday.
