NTA Member Bellingrath Gardens And Home To Reopen Following Ivan
September 21, 2004 – Bellingrath Gardens and Home will reopen on Monday, September 27 at 8 a.m. after temporarily closing due to Hurricane Ivan. Normal operating hours will resume with daily closings at 5 p.m.

The gardens report that they fared extremely well with only debris and the loss of power. The lack of damage can be attributed to the amount of preparation that was taken ahead of time.
