Motorcoach Crash Kills Six in Hewitt, Texas
At least six people were killed today when a motorcoach and other vehicles wrecked on rain-soaked Interstate 355 in Hewitt, Texas. The owner of the motorcoach, Central Texas Trails Inc., based in Waco, Texas, is not an NTA member.
About 30 people were injured in the crash, according to a spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Safety. The motorcoach reportedly was carrying a group from Memorial Baptist Church in Temple, Texas, to a concert at Reunion Arena in Dallas. It was not clear how many passengers were on the motorcoach, and how many of the fatalities were motorcoach passengers.
