Tralliance hosted industry leaders over the weekend to celebrate the launch of the .travel domain.
"The .travel registry is now open and we are inviting all of the world’s travel related businesses to claim their space on the Internet," Trialliance President Ron Andruff said.
NTA is assisting members in the authentication process. If you haven’t signed up for this initiative yet, you can begin the process by clicking here to submit an online authentication application. NTA will review your application and then send you an e-mail with further instructions.
Companies who have registered for .travel domain names need to add their business profiles to the .travel Directory. The directory will be a valuable resource to help consumers learn more about the benefits of doing business with companies who use a .travel name. There is no cost to add your profile, and you can do it now by going to http://www.directory.travel/ to load your product and/or service profiles.
