London’s Underground Tube Closed After Train Derailment
Thousands of travelers in London are looking for alternate transportation today after the Central line and the Waterloo and City line closed due to a train derailment.
According to CNN.com, as many as 32 people were injured when a train carrying 800 passengers left the tracks and hit a wall at Chancery Lane station on Saturday. Initial investigative reports suggest a faulty motor may have caused the accident.
The Central line is one of London’s frequently traveled arteries and the Tube’s longest line, with 49 stations.
