London Subway Strike Set March 12
March 03, 2004 – Subway workers in London will hold a 24-hour strike March 12 to protest the firing of maintenance workers accused of drinking on the job.

According to CNN.com, the Rail, Maritime and Transport union said the walkout will affect services used by about 1.4 million people.
