Homeland Security Secretary Says Don’t Cancel Travel Plans
In response to today’s upgraded terrorist threat, U.S. Homeland Security Director Tom Ridge made a plea to America to avoid canceling travel plans.

He also released the following helpful tips to remember when considering the threat:

  • Do not cancel events or travel plans.
  • Make a plan for contacting family members in an emergency.
  • Learn about different types of attacks so you will know what to do in an emergency.
  • Be especially aware of your surroundings and the events happening around you.
