Holiday Hours for Smithsonian Institution
June 30, 2005 – The Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., has announced changes to their operations hours due to the July 4 holiday.

Today only, the Freer and Sackler galleries of art will open at 11 a.m. This is one hour later than usual.

July 1-4, the American Indian Museum will be open 9 a.m.-7p.m. each day.

The Air and Space Museum on the Mail will be open from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on July 4 and the Natural History Museum will be open 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m.

The Museum of African Art has new summer hours, opening at 9 a.m., July 1 thru Aug. 31.
