Final 2009 Board of Directors, Officer Candidates Announced
July 2, 2008 – The period for nominations from the floor has closed and the slate of people running for officer and director seats on the 2009 NTA Board of Directors has been finalized.

Chairman and CEO

  • Michele Michalewicz, CTP – Western Leisure Inc.

    Vice Chairman/Chairman and CEO Elect

  • Catherine Greteman – Star Destinations Inc.

    Secretary/Treasurer

  • Jim Reddekopp Jr. – Fly Away Holidays

    Three tour operator director seats (two-year terms) will be filled. The candidates are:

  • Sherri Guiborat – Mayflower Tours Inc.
  • Laurie Lincoln – Main Street Tours Inc.
  • Mahen Sanghrajka – Big Five Tours and Expeditions
  • Jim Warren – Exclusively Canada Ltd.

    One DMO director seat (two-year term) will be filled. The candidate is:

  • Greg Eckhart – Travel Portland

    One tour supplier director (two-year term) will be filled. The candidates are:

  • Carolyn Chrzan – Golden Corral
  • Jim Kisselburg – Wyndham Hotel Group

    Eligible NTA members will vote in their respective member categories to elect their representatives to the board. The voting will be conducted electronically before the NTA Annual Convention and by paper ballot at the category-specific elections in Pittsburgh.
