CrossSphere Announces 2005 Board of Directors at Annual Convention in Toronto
LEXINGTON, Ky. – CrossSphere, formerly the National Tour Association, announced the 2005 board of directors at its Annual Convention last month in Toronto. Ann Thomas, CTP, of Western Discovery, LCC in Reno, Nev., will serve as chairman of the 2005 CrossSphere Board of Directors.
Serving as vice chairman of the board will be Judith Thomas, CTP, of Unlimited Tours & Travel in Saint Louis, Mo., Randy Julian of Julian Tours in Alexandria, Va., will serve as treasurer, and Bob Hoelscher, CTP, of Flemming Tours in Cedar City, Utah, will serve as secretary.
Tour operator directors serving on the board are Martin Elson of Parker Tours/Biss Tours in Plainview. N.Y.; Peter Grunwaldt of Premier Alaska Tours Inc., in Anchorage, Alaska; Mark Hoffmann, CTP, of Sports Leisure Vacations in Sacramento, Calif.; Laurie Lincoln, CTP, of Main Street Tours in Torrance, Calif.; Michele Michalewicz, CTP, of Western Leisure in Salt Lake City, Utah; and Michael Neustadt of Coach Tours, The Grand Tour Company in Brookfield, Conn.
Representing the tour supplier members on the board will be Cindy Brown of Boston Duck Tours in Boston, Mass., and Scott Hartcorn of Shilo Inns in Portland, Ore. Judy Renfroe of Cobb County Convention & Visitors Bureau in Atlanta Ga., and Wendy Kelman of Maryland Office of Tourism Development in Baltimore, Md., will represent the DMO members.
Mitch Sussman, CTP, of Starr Tours in Trenton, N.J., immediate past chairman, also will serve on the board, along with directors-at-large Susan Iris of the Canadian Tourism Commission in Arlington, Va., Ed Dresel of Destinations Unlimited Inc., and Barbara LeClair, CTP, of the Hilton Hotels Corporation in Vancouver, Wash.
