British Airways Ends Dispute That Caused Strikes
Yesterday British Airways and three Unions ended an ongoing dispute that previously sparked a major strike at Heathrow Airport and delayed travel on the carrier, according to a report on USAToday.com.
The battle ended this week as unions agreed to accept a new electronic clock-in system and the airline said it would separate this issue from discussions over pay and hours. Both sides are pleased with the outcome.
Earlier this month, a strike over the dispute caused major delays and flight cancellations. Many other travelers arrived at their destination without their luggage.
