Vote Now: Courier’s Distinguished Dozen
September 19, 2016
The final round of balloting in Courier magazine’s annual Distinguished Dozen is underway. Tour operators were sent a link to the multiple-choice survey and directed to choose between the finalists in 12 different categories.
The Distinguished Dozen program, now in its sixth year, asks NTA tour operators to vote for their most trusted NTA supplier and destination marketing partners in each of the categories. When voting for a tour supplier or DMO, each operator takes into account the quality of the product, their level of customer service, the value they offer their customers and their dedication to relationship building.
The twelve categories are:
- North American DMO Partner (City/Region)
- North American DMO Partner (State/Province)
- Overseas DMO Partner
- Casino/Gaming Property
- Corporate Hotel Chain
- Independent/Boutique Hotel Property
- Theater/Show Venue
- Group-friendly Restaurant
- Museum for Groups
- Shopping Attraction
- Big-ship or River Cruising Company
- Sightseeing Tours (Cruises, Rail, Flights, Jeeps, Segways, Bikes, Trolleys).
The first round of voting, which wrapped up last week, determined the finalists in each category. Balloting concludes Friday, Sept. 30, and the results will be promoted in the February 2017 issue of Courier and announced at Travel Exchange in St. Louis later that month.
