U.S. State Department Issues Travel Warning for Kenya
The U.S. State Department issued a new warning urging Americans to avoid all nonessential travel to Kenya based on increased security concerns in the region.

According to the State Department, the U.S. has received several indications of terrorist threats in Kenya aimed at Americans and western interests. American citizens traveling in Kenya during this time should remain alert, especially in public areas such as hotels, shopping malls, restaurants and in large crowds.

Israeli national airline carrier El Al Airlines has suspended flights to Kenya as of Sunday, citing these terrorist concerns.
