U.S. Passport Fees Increase
March 11, 2005 – According to USA Today, U.S. passport fees went up by $12 this week. A new passport costs $97 or $82 for children 16 and under. Renewals are $67. These fees will help finance the upcoming passport security features such as chips with embedded information.
