Tourism Cares Returns to New Orleans
Nov. 13, 2007 – At the NTA Annual Convention in Kansas City, Tourism Cares announced that it will renew its dedication to the Gulf Coast restoration effort this spring by bringing its annual clean-up event, Tourism Cares for America, to New Orleans and its Louis Armstrong Park.

Held April 17-19, the project will accomplish major repairs and upkeep to the park, which is home to the Mahalia Jackson Center for the Performing Arts and the Morris F X. Jeff Municipal Auditorium.

This is Tourism Cares’ fourth clean-up project for the city of New Orleans.
