TIA: Visits to U.S. Theme, Amusement Parks Continue to Increase
American travelers’ visits to theme and amusement parks were up 5 percent last year, an upward trend that has continued since 1996, according to the Travel Industry Association of America’s newly released Domestic Travel Market Report, 2003 Edition.

The report found that travelers who choose theme and amusement parks as destinations spend more money per household on these trips compared to overall travelers – an average of $845 versus $457 respectively, excluding transportation to the destination.
