TIA Reports U.S. is Top Destination for Brazilian Travelers
According to a study just released by the Travel Industry Association on international inbound travel titled "Brazil Travel View: Attitudes and Trends, 2002 Edition," Brazilian travelers are flocking to the United States.
The study states Brazilian travelers, the largest market in Latin America, are well-educated, high-income travelers who visit the states in large numbers and are generous spenders. The United States is a top destination for Brazilian travelers, carrying 22 percent of Brazilian outbound travel and 36 percent of long-haul travel in 2001.
