Scorching Temperatures Continue to Bake Europe
The severe heat wave facing much of Europe this summer has caused at least 100 deaths in the last eight days.

According to a report on CNN.com, the French government is considering acknowledging the heat wave is a crisis. Emergency doctors in Paris said about 50 deaths in the past four days pushed the total number over 100.

Forecasters are predicting alight relief from the heat by the weekend. However, officials in Spain said it could be another week before a cold front moves in to the area.
