RSVP for This Year’s Final Night
Oct. 20, 2008 – VisitPittsburgh has an incredible final night planned for delegates of this year’s Annual Convention. To better assist them with all the details, they are asking that NTA delegates planning on attending this year’s gala, e-mail Barb Hollie, VisitPittsburgh tourism sales assistant, to let them know you will be attending.

You can read about this request in the latest edition of "Diary of a Mad DMO," a blog created by this year’s host to share all the fun details that goes into hosting the NTA Convention.

World-renown composer Marvin Hamlisch will headline the festivities for this year’s final night. Hamlisch, perhaps best known for composing The Way We Were and adapting Scott Joplin’s music for the Robert Redford/Paul Newman movie The Sting, is currently the principal pops conductor for the National Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Seattle Symphony and San Diego Symphony.
