NTA Receives Updates from Berkely and United Following Airport Delays
August 10, 2006 – NTA has received information from The Berkely Group and United Airlines related to the airline delays and cancellations. Travel was disrupted today following a foiled terrorist plot involving passenger aircraft flying between Britain and the United States.

Click here to read the full statement from Berkely to NTA tour operators regarding the NTA Travel Protection Plan. Please note that the airline delays or cancellations due to the raised security status would be considered a common-carrier caused delay under the plan. Therefore, those who have purchased the plan would be eligible for reimbursement of missed arrangements and or additional meals and lodging up to a maximum of $500.

Click here to read United Airlines’ revised ticket policies. The revised policies apply to all customers flying Aug.10-Sept.1 with tickets purchased on or before Aug. 10 for travel to/from the United Kingdom and U.S. airports on any United flight.

NTA will continue to keep you updated. If NTA can assist you in any way, please contact Sara Morton at 800.682.8886 or 859.226.4418 or via e-mail at < a href=mailto:sara.morton@NTA.travel>sara.morton@NTA.travel.
