NTA Members Among 2005 TIA Odyssey Award Winners
July 19, 2005 – The Travel Industry Association has selected ten travel industry organizations to receive the 2005 Odyssey Award, a program that recognizes the outstanding achievement of TIA member organizations that have achieved a higher level of excellence and accomplishment. This year, five of the companies selected are NTA members. Congratulations go to these NTA members: The Greater Saint Charles Convention and Visitors Bureau, Nevada Commission on Tourism, Amtrak, Missouri Division of Tourism and Explore Minnesota Tourism. The Odyssey Award is given annually to those that have demonstrated originality, creativity and effectiveness in categories such as Cultural Heritage, the Environment, Public & Community Service, and Education, Training and Employment. They will be honored at TIA’s Annual Awards Banquet, which takes place Thursday, Oct. 27, during the TIA Marketing Outlook Forum in Seattle, Wash.
