Nigeria Airways Passengers Stranded in London and New York
Demonstrations erupted yesterday at the Lagos airport in Nigeria as more than 100 people whose family members have been stranded in London and New York since Christmas demanded answers.

According to CNN.com, Nigeria Airways was grounded last week after creditors detained one of its last remaining planes in London. Family members, along with stranded airline passengers, marched through the airport yesterday looking for answers. As a result, the Lagos airport was virtually shut down.

The family members of passengers are asking Nigeria Airways to bring their loved ones home. Stranded travelers are demanding the cost of their tickets be fully refunded.
