National Tour Association Welcomes ACP Rail International As A Transportation Provider
LEXINGTON, Ky. – November 2, 2004 – The National Tour Association has announced ACP International as a new partner in its Transportation Provider Program. ACP Rail International will offer exclusive benefits to NTA members including discounts and a dedicated 800 number for NTA tour operators. The agreement also will provide new profitable global business opportunities to association members.

"This partnership gives NTA tour operators new business opportunities with major rail systems in Europe," said NTA President Hank Phillips, CTP. "This represents an important door NTA has opened as a point of our ongoing globalization process. We very much appreciate ACP Rail’s efforts and support, and we look forward to a long relationship with this excellent company."

ACP Rail is the exclusive worldwide marketer of BritRail products, as well as Sweden Rail, Eurail, Norwegian Rail and others and it has a controlling interest in ACP Secret Holidays, a tour operator company focused exclusively on European rail packages. Cities represented in their packages include London, Dublin, Edinburgh, Paris, Oslo, Copenhagen and Stockholm.

Exclusive to NTA members, ACP Rail does not have a preferred-provider agreement with any other association or entity. Details of the new partnership include discounts and commissions on rail pass and rail packages through ACP’s tour operator company, ACP Secret Holidays.

NTA has negotiated special rates for its members with several other transportation providers. Currently, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, United/Air Canada, Carnival Cruise Lines and Amtrak also are in the Transportation Provider Program.
