Mass-Mailing Worm Virus Warning
May 3, 2005 – NTA is warning members about the latest mass-mailing worm, W32/Sober, hiding inside e-mail attachments. This is a medium risk virus that displays a fake error message, infects the host computer and sends itself to the e-mail addresses that are harvested from the infected machine. You will most likely see an attachment that is named: Replaced Infected File.txt. This is the block of the infected attachment.
