Hotel Revenue Rising
Just as the travel industry is looking for a noticeable recovery this summer, statistics now show that hotel room revenue in the United States rose the last week of June.
According to a report on TWCrossroads.com, per available room revenue rose 3.4 percent from the same time period in 2002 to $59.86. Occupancy also increased by 2.6 percent and room rates rose 0.7 percent. This revenue was calculated for the week ending June 28.
