Final 2008 NTA Election Slate Announced
Aug. 9, 2007 –The NTA Nominating Committee is pleased to announce the final slate of candidates for 2008 officer and board positions. One nominee was received from the floor – Anne Davis, CTP, of Cruises and Tours Worldwide chose to run from the floor for a tour operator director seat.

Detailed questionnaires and photos are available on the 2008 Election page at NTA.travel. Ballot materials disseminated electronically and via mail for advance voting Sept. 20-21.

The final slate of candidates is as follows:

Chairman and CEO

  • Bob Hoelscher, CTP,CTC, CTIE, MCC – Flemming Tours (NC)

    Vice Chairman/Chairman and CEO Elect

  • Michele Michalewicz, CTP – Western Leisure (NC)

    Treasurer

  • Catherine Greteman – Star Destinations (NC)

    Secretary

  • Marian DiPietro – TOURCO (NC)

    Three tour operator director seats (two-year terms) will be filled. The candidates are:

     

  • Luca Arioli – Intertravel (NC)
  • Anne Davis, CTP – Cruises and Tours Worldwide (Floor Nominee)
  • Gloria Kenley – The Kenley Konnection (NC)
  • Corey Marshall, CTP – Anderson Vacations (NC)
  • Mahen Sanghrajka – Big Five Tours and Expeditions (NC)

    One DMO director seat (two-year term) will be filled. The candidates are:

  • Ed Hall, CTP – Rochester Visitors Association (NC)

    One tour supplier director (two-year term) will be filled. The candidates are:

     

  • Wayne Chandler, CTP – Gaylord Attractions/Grand Ole Opry (NC)
  • Carolyn Chrzan – Golden Corral (NC)
  • Jim Kisselburg – Wyndham Hotel Group (NC)
  • Jill Pongonis – Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation (NC)
