Emergency Need for Motorcoaches in New Orleans
August 31, 2005 – NTA has learned that Louisiana is desperately trying to get motorcoaches to evacuate people from New Orleans. Any NTA members who can have motorcoaches within 24 hours to transport anyone out of New Orleans is asked to contact Darienne Wilson with the state of Louisiana at 225-342-8125 or via e-mail at dwilson@crt.state.la.us.

Wilson needs your name, company, address, phone, and number of motorcoaches that could be used. She said this would actually save people’s lives. They will be contacted by FEMA on how to work with Louisiana and FEMA will reimburse for their charges.
