Eiffel Tower Catches on Fire Today
A top portion of the world-famous Eiffel Tower in Paris, France was on fire today, the result of a technical room accident.

According to reports on CNN.com, the fire broke out today in a room housing antenna equipment at the top of the tower. Smoke was seen rising from the attraction and tourists are being kept away from the monument today.

Officials were unable to confirm the origin of the fire, but did indicate it was based in an area not accessible to tourists. There are no signs of injuries at this time.
